The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour and Snookers Cafe and Billiards in Providence, RI. hosted a field of forty seven players including Mike Zuglan, Joe Tucker, Jason Michas, Ray McNamara, Tom McGonagle, Matt Tetreault, Tim D’Alfonso and Dave Grau all looking to take home the top prize offered from $5760 in prize money up for grabs

The winners side came down to Tom McGonagle vs Matt Tetreault for the hot-seat. McGonagle. After Tretreault had battled in two hill-hill matches against Damon Sobers and Joe Tucker. Tetreault was ready for the challenge and sent McGonagle to the left side of the chart 9-0, winning the hotset match for himself.

On the one loss side, Tucker would have to make a comeback to get another shot at Tetreault. Tucker was able to elminate Dave Grau and Tom D’Alfonso; and then defeated McGonagle 9-5 to earn the shot at Tetreault in the finals.

The final match was true double elimination, Tetreault and Tucker battled back and forth to hill-hill before Tucker prevailed, forcing a second set. After a break, the two resumed and continued the battle. The score was tied at 7-7 when Tucker won the next rack to reach the hill first and then closed out the match at 9-7.
